Afternoon naps and a light breeze
Sunlight on my back, warm.
Painting nails by candlelight
Stormy evenings, windy nights
Hair fluttering, goosebumps.
I sunned myself, feeling the rays
Like a blanket, keeping me warm.
I closed my eyes at the brightness,
Feeling alive, energized.
Rain poured in the evening,
Thunder cracked, lightening flashed.
The wind howled and trees fell.
I was calm in the chaos.
